On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Thuan Chau district established 11 working groups to visit and give gifts of gratitude to 40 Dien Bien soldiers, youth volunteers, and frontline workers in 14 communes in the area. The district directly participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

During the Dien Bien Phu campaign, in addition to contributing food and provisions to the battlefield, over 730 children of Thuan Chau participated in the fighting, 240 young volunteers, and 3,600 people participated in the civil fire transport line. goods and ammunition for the front line, 420 people directly participated in paving and repairing roads at Pha Din pass and contributed 56,700 working days to the campaign.
