Bilateral cooperation mechanisms such as the 3rd Political Consultation; Session 12 of the Intergovernmental Committee was held after a long hiatus, creating an opportunity to review and exchange measures to strengthen cooperation in all fields.

In particular, economic relations have made clear and breakthrough progress. In 2023, Vietnam-Algeria bilateral trade turnover will grow impressively compared to 2022.

The Acting President highly appreciated the Ambassador’s close coordination with Vietnamese authorities to upgrade the memorial area for Vietnamese and Algerian officials and reporters who died in the plane crash in Soc Son when the tower collapsed. accompanying the President of Algeria to visit Vietnam in 1974.

The memorial work is a place to mark and remind future generations of the precious solidarity and mutual support of the two peoples of Vietnam and Algeria.
