On April 24, the Provincial Veterans Association coordinated with Son La Provincial Radio and Television Station to organize the discussion program “Sing forever the military march” commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of Dien Bien Phu (May 7, 1954 – 7 /May 2024).

During the talk show, veterans told stories about heroic battles of the past, especially battles in the Dien Bien Phu campaign; the arduous fighting process of the soldiers directly participating in the fighting, the great sacrifices of the youth volunteer forces, Son La’s frontline civilians supporting the campaign as well as the contribution of physical strength. The people and resources of the people of Son La ethnic groups were devoted to the Dien Bien battlefield, contributing to the historic victory. Veterans also shared their feelings of excitement and emotion in the days when the whole country was looking forward to the 70th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

Veterans who participated in the resistance war against the US and the Northern border war also shared wartime stories, the process of participating in combat, and the years they spent together with the army and people of the country participating in the resistance war against the US. , liberating the South, unifying the country and the battles at the border and in the battlefield of Laos.
