From the beginning of 2024 until now, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Dao – provincial social insurance officer, along with group members, has proactively planned to visit spas and private preschools in Quang Ngai City to propagate the policy. Ms. Dao said, before going to spas and small private preschools to consult, we will register to work with the managers of the above units. In fact, many people do not fully understand the voluntary social insurance policy, so when we propagate and campaign, they immediately participate. Therefore, propaganda and mobilization of people to participate in voluntary social insurance need to be persistent and closely follow the subjects.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Hai, in An Hoa Nam village, Nghia Thang commune (Tu Nghia) shared, I am currently working as an employee at a spa in Quang Ngai City. After being propagated and advocated by social insurance officials, I understood the practical benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance. Therefore, I participated in voluntary social insurance with a payment of more than 1 million VND/month, so that when I get old, I will have a pension.
Recently, local social insurance agencies in the province have also actively applied the small group communication model in mobilizing participants in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance. Among them, Son Tinh district social insurance is one of the localities that does this model well.
Deputy Director of Son Tinh District Social Insurance Vo Duy Hanh said that from the beginning of 2024, Son Tinh District Social Insurance will continue to deploy a small group communication model to propagate voluntary social insurance policies. Right in the first launch of the year, we had 14 more people participating in voluntary social insurance. In addition, the district social insurance has coordinated with the district post office to check the customer care situation of collection staff at commune post offices. Thereby, promptly urge and remind collection staff to closely follow customers.
According to the Provincial Social Insurance, the reason this model of small group communication is effective is due to careful review of participants before propaganda. From there, we provide appropriate advice on the method and time of paying voluntary social insurance for people.
