The Central Audit Committee requested the Politburo to consider and enforce discipline on the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms.
The Central Audit Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee to decide to discipline 17 party organizations and 17 party members according to the Central Audit Committee’s conclusion. The Central Audit Committee continues to review and enforce discipline on other related party organizations and party members.
II. Reviewing the report recommending disciplinary action against a number of violating party members at the Party Committees of An Giang and Soc Trang provinces, the Central Audit Committee found that:
Mr. Vuong Binh Thanh, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of An Giang province; Mr. Tran Van Chuyen, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Soc Trang province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned responsibilities and tasks; violating regulations on what party members cannot do and the responsibility to set an example; causing serious consequences, bad public opinion, reducing the reputation of the party organization and local government, to the point of requiring consideration and disciplinary action.
Based on the Party’s regulations, the Central Inspection Committee decided to enforce discipline: Warning to comrade Vuong Binh Thanh; Reprimand Mr. Tran Van Chuyen.
III. Review the results of supervision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Standing Committee members of Thai Binh and Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee, the Central Audit Committee requested the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of Thai Binh and Bac Lieu to seriously review, learn from experience, and promptly overcome violations, shortcomings, and limitations in leadership and direction of construction. develop and organize the implementation of working regulations; staff work and land management and use in investment projects; declaration of assets and income.
