In the field of tourism, in the first quarter of 2024, the total number of visitors to Son La is estimated to reach about 1,360 thousand tourists, of which, more than 3,100 international tourists; Revenue is estimated at about 1,500 billion VND.
In the second quarter, the province’s Culture, Sports and Tourism sector continued to strengthen management and promote cultural, sports and tourism activities at the grassroots; Advise and submit to the Provincial People’s Committee to promulgate plans: Organize the Announcement Ceremony of the Decision to recognize Moc Chau National Tourist Area; “Colors of Son La – Northwest” event in Da Nang City; Project orienting the construction and development of tourism in the Son La Hydropower reservoir area to become a National Tourist Area; continue to promote the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” in residential areas…
