On April 24, news from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that on April 23, the Police Investigation Agency of Ha Trung District Police (Thanh Hoa) issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendant and temporarily arrest detained 4 people who held a “drug party” at the wedding, including: Phung Van Chung (born 1993); Phung Van Nam (born 1993); Dang Trong Minh (born 1997; lives in Yen Duong commune, Ha Trung district) and Mai Hoang Ba (born 1994; lives in Ha Tien commune, Ha Trung district).

According to Ha Trung District Police, through the work of understanding the situation, the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of Ha Trung District Police coordinated with Yen Duong Commune Police to detect a number of subjects showing signs of organized drug use at Phung Van Chung’s wedding, so the commune police were summoned to work.

Through a quick test, the police discovered that Phung Van Chung and Dang Trong Minh tested positive for drugs.

Expanding the case, Ha Trung District Police arrested Phung Van Nam and Mai Hoang Ba, two subjects who went to buy drugs for Chung and his friends to organize for use.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.
