GRDP in 2023 reaches 5.97%; Total budget revenue is 69,504 billion VND, reaching 106% of the estimate; Total implemented budget balancing expenditure is 33,235 billion VND, reaching 100% of the estimate, of which disbursement of public investment capital is 18,787 billion VND, reaching 154.2% of the plan. Export turnover was 31.8 billion USD, down 7.3% over the same period, trade surplus was over 8.7 billion USD; attracting 85,498 billion VND of domestic registered business capital and 1.5 million USD of foreign investment capital.

GRDP growth in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 5.27%; Budget revenue is 22,072 billion VND, reaching 31% of the estimate; Total budget expenditure is estimated at 4,653 billion VND, reaching 16% of the estimate, of which disbursement of public investment capital is 1,958 billion VND, reaching 12.8% of the plan; exports 11 billion USD, up 15.6% over the same period; trade surplus of over 3.4 billion USD. Attracted 19,838 billion VND of domestic registered business capital and 272.4 million USD of foreign investment capital. To date, the whole province has 67,962 domestic enterprises with a total capital of 747 trillion VND and 4,280 foreign investment projects with a total investment capital of 40.6 billion USD.

Social security and welfare work is paid attention to and achieves positive results. The entire province basically has no poor households according to the Central multi-dimensional criteria; According to the province’s criteria, there are currently 5,499 poor households, accounting for 1.37% and 1,739 near-poor households, accounting for 0.43%. National defense and security are maintained stably.

In 2023, in a difficult economic situation, Binh Duong province has achieved the third highest budget revenue in the country.
