Applying professional measures, PA05 identified Facebook accounts impersonating Bhikkhuni Thich Nu Tuong Phuc (living in Hue), and using images of victims treated at major hospitals in Da Nang. Da Nang calls for donations for the purpose of fraudulently appropriating property.
The subject who committed the fraud is living in Ho Chi Minh City, so PA05 reported to the City Police Director to coordinate with other units to go to Ho Chi Minh City to verify and arrest.

Many people have trusted and transferred donations from 20,000 VND to 2 million VND into many different accounts of Hai. Among them, an account named Truong Thi Huyen Tran received a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND, an account named Nguyen Tien Dung received more than 550 million VND.
With the above trick, from the beginning of 2021 until the time of his arrest, Hai appropriated billions of dong from tens of thousands of victims nationwide.
The authorities seized more than 12 bank cards of all types, with a total transaction amount of over 10 billion VND, the transaction amount in Hai’s personal account alone was nearly 6 billion VND.
Da Nang City Police have decided to prosecute and temporarily arrest Le Dinh Hai for fraudulent appropriation of property.
