Vinh Phuc is an industrial and service province with high economic growth compared to the North and the whole country. Of which, the load structure using industrial-construction electricity accounts for nearly 65%; Consumption activities account for nearly 31%. Electricity consumption in the first 3 months of the year reached 894 million kWh, up 7.02% over the same period in 2023.

To ensure electricity supply for the strong growth of the province, recently, EVN and its member units have completed and put into operation power projects ensuring quality and progress, and are implementing many power grid projects as planned.

Currently, EVNNPT is implementing projects such as: Vinh Yen 500kV Substation and 500kV Connection Line; Viet Tri – Tam Duong – Ba Thien 220kV line; New construction and renovation of the 110kV Vinh Yen – Vinh Tuong – Viet Tri line; Ba Thien 220kV substation and Viet Tri-Tam Duong-Ba Thien 220kV line; 110kV feeder after 220kV Ba Thien substation; 110kV Ba Thien – Khai Quang line,… However, the projects are encountering many problems related to site clearance compensation, affecting the project completion schedule, and at the same time causing the lines to 110kV lines in the province always operate in full load, warning and overload conditions.

To carry out investment in power projects according to planning to ensure electricity supply to serve socio-economic development and attract new investment in the province, EVN requests the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province to pay attention and direct Closely monitor the People’s Committees of districts, cities and departments and agencies to pay attention to removing obstacles in site clearance work to soon hand over sites for power projects according to the commitment between the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province and EVN and other localities. unit. At the meeting, leaders of localities and member units of EVN focused on discussing difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing power projects and proposed specific solutions to overcome problems for each individual. project.

Emphasizing the importance of power sources in the process of socio-economic development and improving the competitiveness of Vinh Phuc province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vu Chi Giang requested the Provincial People’s Committee Office to immediately establish a working group. consisting of members who are leaders of departments, branches, branches and localities related to the implementation of electrical works and projects. In particular, the working group will be directly directed and urged by the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to urgently resolve difficulties and obstacles in compensation and site clearance for power projects, especially is the 500kV Vinh Yen substation project and connection line. Departments, branches, branches and localities need to raise their sense of responsibility and report on the progress of implementing key power projects and projects weekly for the Provincial People’s Committee to promptly direct and resolve.

Leaders of Vinh Phuc province also requested localities to supplement planning, land use plans, and land recovery to submit to the People’s Council and Provincial People’s Committee for consideration before May 10.
