This is the time when the Ministry of Education and Training opens a system for candidates to practice testing and register for the exam online at http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn. Accounts and passwords for students to log in are issued by high schools.
For independent candidates, they will register directly at the exam registration unit specified by the Department of Education and Training. After submitting the exam registration form, independent candidates will be given an exam management system account.
Candidates need to secure their account information by immediately changing their password after logging in. In case candidates forget their account and password, they can contact the exam registration unit to reissue it.
After 5 days of testing, the system will delete all test registration forms to prepare for candidates to officially register for the exam online from May 2 to 5:00 p.m. on May 10. Candidates’ registration information is only recognized during the official registration period.
How to fill in information on the exam registration form as follows:
Section DEPARTMENT OF Education and Training……… DEPARTMENT CODE: Candidates register at the exam registration unit under the Department of Education and Training, write the name of the Department of Education and Training in the blank space, then enter 2 digits representing the Department of Education and Training code in the next 2 blank boxes, code The Department of Education and Training is regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Section Number of votes: The place that receives registration for the exam must write, candidates do not write this section.
Section 1, 2: Write according to the instructions on the exam registration form high school graduation exam.
Section 3: The candidate’s place of birth only needs to clearly state the name of the province or centrally run city. If born abroad, candidates only need to clearly state the name of the country (in Vietnamese). Ethnicity is recorded exactly according to the birth certificate. For foreign nationality, mark (X) in the box next to it.
Section 4: Citizen identification number, identity card number, personal identification number and passport number are collectively written as Citizen identification number/identity card (CCCD/ID card) in this section. For new form of ID card/ID card, write all 12 digits in the corresponding boxes; For old ID card form, write 9 digits in the last 9 boxes on the right, leave the first three boxes blank.
Section 5: Province/city code, district/district code and commune/ward code only for communes/wards in Region 1 will be prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates need to look up at the place of registration to enter the correct province/city code, district/district code, and commune/ward code where the candidate has their current permanent residence in the corresponding boxes on the right.
Candidates who do not have a permanent residence in commune area 1 should leave the commune code box blank. After filling in all the administrative unit codes in the boxes, candidates clearly write the name of commune/ward, district/district, province/city in the blank line. For candidates who are prioritized for subjects or areas related to their permanent residence, it is required to confirm that they have had a permanent residence for more than 18 months in area 1 or more than 18 months in an extremely difficult commune. Communes have villages with particularly difficult times during high school by checking the corresponding box.
Section 6: Write the school name and address to the school’s district/district, province/city on the dotted line. Write the province code where the school is located in the first 2 boxes, write the school code in the next 3 boxes (school code is written according to regulations of the Department of Education and Training, if the school code has 1 digit, the first 2 boxes write 0, if the school code has 1 digit, write 0 in the first 2 boxes. If the field has 2 digits, the first cell should record 0).
For candidates who are police officers or soldiers sent to participate in the exam for university or teacher training college admission, write the province/city code corresponding to the province where they are stationed and the high school code is 900. For candidates with time studying abroad, for years studying abroad, write the province/city code corresponding to the province/city according to permanent residence in Vietnam and the high school code is 800. Class name field: clearly state the name of grade 12 where the student is currently studying (eg 12A1, 12A2,…), for free candidates write “TDO”.
Section 7: Clearly state phone and email. For candidates who request to adjust their online admission registration, they need to register their mobile phone number to receive a one-time password (OTP) via text message to ensure security when applying. Register for admission online.
Section 8: Candidates must clearly state the contact person’s information: full name; phone number; Address of hamlet (house number), village (street, alley), commune/ward, district/district, province/city. This address is also the address to receive the admission notice if the candidate is admitted.
Section 9: Candidates who are eligible for university or college admission should check the box.
Section 10: Candidates are required to mark (X) in one of the 2 boxes to clearly indicate whether the candidate is studying in the high school program or the continuing education program at the high school level.
Section 11: Candidates who are in grade 12 for the 2023 – 2024 school year do not select this item.
Section 12: Candidates registering to take the exam at any exam board must write the name of the exam board and the exam board code prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training in the corresponding position.
Section 13: Students who are studying in grade 12 of high school at any school must submit their registration form at that school. Other subjects submit registration papers at locations specified by the Department of Education and Training. The registration unit code is written according to the instructions of the place receiving the registration.
Section 14: Candidates who are currently 12th grade students (have not graduated from high school) must register for the exam at point a. Candidates are not allowed to choose component exam subjects at point b.
For free candidates, depending on the purpose of taking the exam, depending on the choice of subject combination for university or college admission, they can choose the entire exam (at point a) or select only some component subjects (at point a). Point b) accordingly.
Candidates can only register for one combined exam (KHTN or Social Science). Free candidates can only register for component exams in the same combination exam. In case free candidates who have not graduated from high school have exams/subjects (for recognition of high school graduation) from the previous year that are eligible for reservation, if they want to reserve any exam/subject, they must record the test scores. /that exam subject is in section 16.
However, candidates can still choose to take the component test/subject (reserved) to get university and college admission results. For candidates studying in the continuing education program, they can choose the Foreign Language test if they wish to use Foreign Language in the combination of subjects for university and college admission.
How to choose a test/component subject: Candidates registering to take the test/component subject must mark (X) in the corresponding test/component subject box, especially for the Foreign Language test. Students fill in the code corresponding to the specific language as follows: N1 – English; N2 – Russian; N3 – French; N4 – Chinese; N5 – German; N6 – Japanese; N7 – Korean. Candidates can only choose component subjects in a combined exam.
Section 15: For candidates who wish to be exempted from the Foreign Language test, they need to clearly state the type of certificate that qualifies for exemption or clearly state that they are members of the national team participating in the International Olympic Competition in Foreign Language according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education. -TEL. For certificates that record test scores (full test scores), candidates must record scores in the “Test scores” box.
For example: Registering for exemption from the Foreign Language test in recognition of high school graduation or registering for admission: (Candidates write the type of foreign language certificate that qualifies as prescribed or clearly state that they are a member of the national team Participate in the International Olympiad in Foreign Language to be exempted from the exam): TOEFL ITP Test scores (if you have a certificate with test scores, candidates write scores in box 405).
Section 16: Candidates who took the high school exam last year, if there are tests/subjects that are eligible to be reserved according to regulations, candidates who want to reserve scores for any test/subject should record the score of that test/subject in corresponding box (Note: For combined exams, candidates have the right to reserve the results of each component exam if eligible. To reserve the overall score of any combined exam, candidates must write scores of all component exams of that combined exam).
For reserved exams/subjects, candidates can still register to take the exam (component exam or exam) in section 14 only in case they wish to use the results of the university entrance exam. , college.
Sections 24, 25, 26, 27 on software: Candidates registering to take the exam to get university and college admission results in the Early Childhood Education Department must fill in the information in these sections. For item 24, candidates must declare on the software complete and correct information with evidence according to regulations and instructions to receive priority in university and college admission.

Candidates register for university admission from July 18No later than July 10, universities must notify candidates of early admission results. From July 18, candidates will start registering their wishes on the Ministry’s general system.
