The organizing committee received 191 works and works from 71 authors and author groups. However, the Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee also said that the number of young authors under 35 participating in the 2023 award is too small, accounting for 8% of participating authors. The number of participating authors from outside the province tends to decrease; At the same time, the participating works still do not highlight the unique features of Dong Nai’s culture and people and are not really attached to the province.
The leader of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee further informed that in 2024, the VHNT Award Council will receive entries until September 30, which will determine the theme of the award.
