The total capital need in 2024 to implement the Rural Power Supply Program in Son La province is over 214 billion VND. Of which, the rural electricity supply sub-project from the national grid of Son La province is over 102 billion VND; Projects invested by districts are over 105 billion VND; The Electricity industry invested 6.5 billion VND in developing new meters. The investment target is to supply electricity to 10,156 households, including new investment for 6,278 households and upgrading safe electricity investment for 3,878 households.

In the first quarter, the Department of Industry and Trade completed payments for 6 construction and installation bidding packages in Thuan Chau, Muong La, and Mai Son districts deployed in 2023, completing investment in power supply for 4,357 households; Directing the removal of difficulties and obstacles, urging contractors to speed up the implementation of construction and installation packages in 13 communes of Song Ma district, 7 communes of Sop Cop district, 5 communes of Muong La district, and investing in power supply for 2,860 households. The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs continues to implement the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021 – 2025 in Thuan Chau and Sop Cop districts, investing in rural electricity supply with a total investment of over 78 million VND. .9 billion VND. Son La Electricity Company has developed new meters for 1,500 customers. People’s Committees of districts and cities implement safe electricity projects in the district.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested that member departments, branches and branches; People’s Committees of districts and cities continue to accelerate the progress of power supply projects; Advise and submit to the Provincial People’s Committee to adjust the rural electricity supply sub-project from the national grid of Son La province; Direct the integration of capital sources to implement the investment program to provide safe electricity to households; Implement site clearance work, mobilize people to contribute and perform well the site clearance work so that the project can be completed on schedule; Complete documents and procedures, finalize investment capital of completed works of the Rural Power Supply Project from the national power grid of Son La province for the period 2016 – 2020.
