Instructions for registering for the 2024 high school graduation exam online

Before taking the high school graduation exam, candidates must register for the exam online. – For candidates studying in grade 12: Register to take the exam online on the exam management system, starting from May 2 to 5:00 p.m. on May 10.

For independent candidates: Register to take the exam directly at the exam registration units specified by the Department of Education and Training from May 2 to 5:00 p.m. on May 10. Exam-taking units are regulated by the Department of Education and Training to issue accounts and passwords to candidates freely.

To register for the 2024 high school graduation exam online, candidates should follow these steps:

Step 1: Candidates access the address http://thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn/Account/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f

Step 2: Candidates log in with their ID card number/citizen identification card/personal identification number and login code (password) provided by the application reception point or in the email received. Then enter the confirmation code (Captcha code on the screen) > click “Log in”.

Step 3: Change password after logging in, the Change login code screen will be displayed. Candidates need to change the new login code according to their wishes to increase the security of their account when registering for the high school graduation exam.

Step 4: Fill in the high school exam registration form. After changing the login code, candidates will enter the high school exam registration form page. At this time, candidates need to fill in all information according to the available fields. Completely fill in the following information:

– Photo section: This is the area to upload card photos, only photos in JPG or JPEG format, sized 4 x 6 cm and taken no more than 6 months from the date of registration for the 2024 high school exam.

– Section 5 (place of permanent residence): This is the place to enter the province/city code, district/district code and commune/ward code. If you do not know the code, candidates can click on the “search” icon, then select their province/city, district and commune (ward) of residence and click the “Select” button. The system will automatically fill in the corresponding code in the boxes in section 5.

In addition, if residing for more than 18 months in a particularly difficult commune, candidates need to indicate the time of permanent residence there by filling in the day/month/year in the corresponding boxes.

– Section 6 (place of high school education or equivalent): This is the place to enter the province/city code and high school code attended. If you don’t know the code, click the “search” icon on the right, then select the province (city) and high school name and click the “Select” button. The system will automatically fill in the province and school codes in the corresponding boxes on the registration form for the high school graduation exam.

– Section 24 (priority admission subjects): If candidates do not belong to any priority subjects, skip this section. If you belong to one of the priority groups such as Ethnic Minorities, Elite Workers, Emulation Soldiers, Wounded Warriors, Sick Soldiers, etc., then select the correct section. Then, the system will ask candidates to provide specific evidence for verification.
