BYD Atto 3 will come to Vietnam in the near future. This information was confirmed in an event taking place at the BYD factory in China.
BYD Atto 3 is probably the car model that the Chinese company has the most expectations for bringing into Vietnam, because it is selling very well in Thailand. The advertising banner on the BYD Vietnam fanpage is also a hidden image of Atto 3.
With parameters of 4,455 x 1,875 x 1,615 (mm), BYD Atto 3 has a size between VinFast VF 7 and VF 6. Therefore, BYD Atto 3 can be placed in the same tray.” with VF 6.
BYD’s electric SUV model follows a simple design, with a lens-shaped LED light cluster connected by a panel and the BYD logo.
On the back is a strip of LED taillights across the tail like a Lexus.
The car has 17-inch and 18-inch wheel options, sophisticatedly stylized.
In contrast to the exterior, the BYD Atto 3 cabin has many strange details, from the design of the steering wheel to the air conditioning vents, door handle to the storage area at the door.
The car is equipped with a large central 15.6-inch screen, comparable to VF 8, VF 9, with the added bonus of being able to rotate.
This car model also has an electronic screen behind the steering wheel.
BYD Atto 3 is a 5-seat car model divided into 2 rows of seats. Some modern amenities such as electronic gear lever, automatic air conditioning, electronic parking brake, panoramic sunroof…
The car uses an electric motor with 198 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. The Standard Range version uses a 49.92 kWh battery, with a maximum operating range of 410km. The Extended Range version uses a 60.48 kWh battery, with a maximum operating range of 480km. Both versions support fast charging. It is currently unclear whether BYD has any plans to build a charging station system in Vietnam.
The car is equipped with ADAS, distributed in Thailand with selling prices of 1,099,900 baht and 1,199,900 baht, equivalent to 742 million VND and 810 million VND, for the Standard Range and Extended Range versions. Car prices in Vietnam are currently expected to range from 700 million VND.
