On April 24, Quynh Luu district police (Nghe An) said that this unit had just arrested subjects stealing B40 type steel mesh panels on the North-South highway. Estimated total damage is up to nearly 100 million VND.

Steel grilles on the North-South Expressway were stolen by criminals

Previously, Quynh Luu district police received a report about the discovery of thieves stealing dozens of B40-type steel mesh panels used to shield livestock from entering the safety corridor on the North-South expressway (section through the area). Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An).

After receiving the report, Quynh Luu district police stepped in to verify and clarify. After 1 day of investigation, the police arrested Tran Van Than (born 1968) and Tran Van Thanh (born 1990), both residing in Quynh My and Quynh Luu communes, who stole the above B40 steel mesh panels. .

The subjects were arrested

During the struggle, the subjects confessed that after stealing the steel mesh, they sold it to Truong Dac Thao (born 1970, residing in Quynh My commune, Quynh Luu district) for 12 million VND.

Currently, Quynh Luu district police are temporarily detaining the above 3 subjects to continue investigating and clarifying and handling according to the law.
