On April 24, H. Don Duong Police (Lam Dong) said they were investigating the case of Mr. Vo Thanh Luan (39 years old, judge of H. Don Duong People’s Court) who was seriously injured.

Initial information, at about 10 p.m. on April 17, Mr. Luan was on duty and working at the agency. When he checked his phone on the phone to check his parents’ house and garden in Ka Do Moi 2 village, Ka Do commune (Don Duong), he saw Detected that the security camera was turned off.
Suspecting something was wrong, Mr. Luan rushed home and discovered two men had broken into the house in the family’s garden, suspected of stealing property. Mr. Luan tri shouted when suddenly someone used a knife to nearly cut off his right elbow and broke the back of his left hand, suffering serious injuries. After that, both men ran away.

Mr. Luan called his family and was taken to the emergency room at a local hospital, then transferred to Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedics Hospital.
Immediately after receiving the news, H. Don Duong Police gathered forces to conduct investigation and verification. On April 19, the authorities identified two people who broke into the house and garden of Mr. Luan’s family: Ya Dong Quoc (41 years old) and Jo Nung Rop Ya Hieu (call Mr. Quoc his uncle, both living in Ka village). Do Moi 2, Ka Do commune).
Initially, Quoc and Hieu confessed that on the evening of April 17, after eating and drinking, Quoc drove Hieu’s motorbike to the house and garden of Mr. Luan’s family in Ka Do Moi 2 village to look for stolen property.
While breaking in to look for property, Mr. Luan came home to discover it and shouted. Therefore, Hieu used a knife to rush in and slash Mr. Luan many times. After committing the crime, Quoc and Hieu fled home.
Regarding the case of a judge being seriously injured by a thief, the People’s Procuracy of H. Don Duong approved an emergency arrest order from the H. Don Duong Police for Hieu to strengthen the prosecution case for the crime. vi “intentionally causing injury”.
