Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation meets voters with workers

Attending the Conference were delegates: Bui Thi Minh Hoai – Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Mass Mobilization Committee, 15th National Assembly Delegate; Y Vinh Tor – Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minorities; Le Thi Thanh Xuan – Deputy Head of the Delegation, in charge of the National Assembly Delegation of Dak Lak province; Luu Van Duc – Standing Member of the National Assembly’s Ethnic Council; Le Ngoc Hai – Major General, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5; Nguyen Thi Xuan – Major General, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police; along with leaders of departments, branches, and more than 130 voters who are workers from units and businesses in the city. At the Conference, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters of the results of the Youth Union’s activities since the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly until now and the expected content of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.

After listening to the report, officials, union members and workers presented recommendations focusing on the main contents of insurance, wages, housing, and employee benefits…

Specifically, voters requested the National Assembly and the Government to consider adjusting the City. Buon Ma Thuot from region III to region II, so that workers’ salaries and social insurance premiums can be raised; Create conditions for union members and employees with health insurance to receive payment when going for medical examination and treatment at medical facilities outside of business hours and for initial medical examination and treatment at all medical facilities. In addition, voters also asked the State to consider and have policies to build social housing, low-cost housing sold in installments or for workers; Preferential loans and low interest rates for workers to buy housing to stabilize their lives; Reducing the retirement age for some specific groups of workers such as workers directly involved in production in hazardous and heavy industries…

In addition, there are sanctions strong enough to handle units and businesses that do not pay attention to the provisions of law related to the Labor Code, Trade Union Law, and Law on Occupational Safety and Health; Review and amend the mechanism to enhance powers, functions, regimes and policies for specialized forest protection forces at units; There are solutions to strengthen the management of black credit and debt collection….

After listening to the opinions and recommendations of voters, representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies and branches received, explained and clarified at the conference.

Speaking at the Conference, delegate Le Thi Thanh Xuan – Deputy Head of the specialized delegation, in charge of the Dak Lak Provincial National Assembly Delegation, thanked the enthusiastic and practical opinions on the lives and work of workers. Delegate Le Thi Thanh Xuan also emphasized that the thematic voter contact program is a forum for National Assembly deputies to listen and understand the thoughts, aspirations, recommendations and suggestions of voters who are workers. This is an opportunity for National Assembly deputies to synthesize opinions to reflect to the National Assembly, relevant agencies and organizations, contributing to the development of policies and laws to ensure feasibility and reality.

The comments and recommendations of voters today will be absorbed, synthesized and presented by the National Assembly Delegation in the next National Assembly session to promptly meet the legitimate aspirations of voters.

In addition, delegate Le Thi Thanh Xuan proposed that Trade Union leaders at all levels continue to strengthen the work of caring for and taking care of the lives of trade union members, especially workers in difficult circumstances; Promote information and transmission of the Party’s guidelines and policies and the State’s laws so that workers can improve their awareness and responsibility.

On this occasion, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation awarded 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at units and businesses.
