U23 Asian Finals 2024: Losing 0-3, Vietnam meets Iraq in the quarterfinals

Uzbekistan showed outstanding strength when leading 3-0 right after the first half. In the second half, Uzbekistan continued to press, leaving Vietnam with no significant opportunities. However, no more goals were scored in the remaining 45 minutes.

With this result, Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will meet Iraq in the quarterfinals, while Uzbekistan will face defending champion Saudi Arabia. U23 Indonesia is the remaining representative of Southeast Asia and has the right to participate in the next round. U23 Thailand, U23 Malaysia and U23 Australia were all eliminated.
