Continuing the business trip in Japan, on the afternoon of April 24, the Provincial People’s Committee chaired and coordinated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Sojitz Group – Japan, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), ASEAN – Japan Center (AJC) organizes an Investment Promotion Conference in Tokyo (Japan).

* Attract projects using high technology

At the conference, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Nguyen Huu Nguyen presented the province’s orientation to attract investment in the coming time for the industrial sector, which are projects using high technology in the technology category. High priority for development according to Government regulations; supporting industry development; new material production, energy saving projects, environmentally friendly projects; Investing in the field of information technology, manufacturing hardware and software products.

For the field of agriculture and processing industry, priority is given to attracting professions: clean, environmentally friendly agricultural products and biotechnology applications. Regarding the service and infrastructure sectors, the province prioritizes inviting investment projects in roads, bridges, ports and projects that serve the people such as education and training, culture, sports and physical training.

Mr. Sho Hiromitsu, representative of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), assessed that Dong Nai is a large, developed province of Vietnam. Besides economics, Dong Nai has good diplomatic relations with Japan. Mr. Sho Hiromitsu made comments on the investment advantages of Dong Nai in particular and Vietnam in general for Japanese businesses.

Many businesses and units have also given opinions and statements about the investment environment. Opinions were also recorded and answered by representatives of departments, branches, and provincial leaders.
