On April 24, Hanoi City Police said that Ha Dong District Police arrested Bui Van Giang (35 years old, from Yen Khanh district, Ninh Binh province) to investigate murder.
At around 7:00 a.m. on April 22, Ha Dong District Police received news from the public about the discovery of Mr. NBN (born 1977, hometown of Son La), dead in the Octagon hut area, within the park grounds. Mo Lao, Ha Dong district, the head area has many blood stains.
Within 24 hours of receiving the news, at dawn on April 23, the forces arrested the perpetrator, Bui Van Giang, while he was hiding in Giap Bat ward, Hoang Mai district.
Initially, it was determined that Giang did not have a stable job, lived a wandering life, often begged for food, and picked up scraps and scraps in Hanoi city.

On April 20, Giang wandered to the Octagon hut area, part of Mo Lao flower garden, Ha Dong to take shelter from the rain when he met Mr. N, lying in the hut, unable to walk due to leg pain.
Giang recognized Mr. N as the person who had beaten him and then was chased away by Mr. N using a saucepan.
Around the afternoon of April 21, Giang bought alcohol to drink, then picked up a bamboo broom handle from the landfill and returned to the hut in the Mo Lao park area to find Mr. N to take revenge.
Seeing Mr. N sleeping, Giang used a broom handle to hit Mr. N’s head about 2-3 times, causing the broom handle to break.
Mr. N woke up and picked up bricks and rocks around the hut and threw them, causing Giang to run away. After that, Giang continued drinking.
About 30 minutes later, Giang went to the landfill again, picked up a piece of wooden stick, returned and continued to hit Mr. N’s head 3-4 times, then threw away the stick and fled the scene.
As a result, Mr. N died on the spot.
Currently, the Director of Hanoi City Police has directed professional units to coordinate with Ha Dong District Police to continue to investigate and strictly handle Bui Van Giang’s crimes according to the law.
