Mr. Phuong said that the vineyard has been planted on a trial basis since 2021, with the main varieties: Nail grapes, candy grapes, peony grapes, black summer grapes… He grows them both for sale and to serve people who come to visit. . In particular, there is no entrance fee and can be enjoyed on the spot, so every time the fruit is ripe, there are quite a few tourists coming to visit, take photos, and buy grapes. This is an exciting signal for Mr. Phuong’s family to develop this economic model.

Not far from Mr. Phuong’s vineyard is Ms. Dao Thi Phuong’s Hoa Sun coffee shop. The shop is located in a high place, with an open viewing angle, any location can cover a fairly large area. Ms. Phuong said, Hoa Sun restaurant serves a number of “specialties”, such as: Durian pickles, avocado pickles or smoothies, along with some familiar drinks. In addition, the restaurant serves fried chicken, mountain crab, and mountain snails (seasonal).

Tourists visit the vineyard

Visitors to the restaurant can also visit, “check-in”, and enjoy the flavors of some crops, such as avocado, durian, grapefruit… “Previously, customers came mainly on weekends. Nowadays, there are visitors almost every day. In addition to serving food and drinks, we also serve regular guests sleeping in tents overnight. If they are lucky, visitors can “hunt” for clouds in the early morning” – Ms. Phuong shared.

Enjoying the grilled chicken specialty at the restaurant, Mr. Nguyen Van Can (Chau Thanh district) said: “I’ve been here a few times and really like this quiet atmosphere. Enjoying delicious dishes, confiding with friends in the middle of the green mountains and forests, feels like letting go of all the worries and chaos in life.”

In Binh My commune (Chau Phu district, An Giang province), the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Ut and Ms. Nguyen Thi Diem Trang chose to develop tourism based on the agricultural model. The couple’s Ut Trang garden only grows new fruit trees that have not been grown locally. On an area of ​​about 6,000 square meters, Mr. Ut grows more than 10 types of fruit trees: wood grapes, Surinam cherries (originating from Brazil), Taiwanese mulberries, peanut butter, imported dates (with traceability code). origin); chocolate pink; Butter star apple…

“I work in a small, self-contained way, selling both seedlings and fruit. If guests want to visit and learn, I will take them out to see the orchard directly to build trust. In addition to selling at the garden, I also sell seedlings online to customers in many places” – Mr. Ut shared.

Not only selling agricultural products and seedlings, he and his wife opened other types of services to welcome visitors and experience. Although it is in a relatively difficult place to find, tourists still come to Ut Trang garden quite a lot, especially on weekends. Thanks to the spacious space, appropriate design, clean and safe fruit products, more and more tourists inside and outside the province know about it, almost every day there are customers.

Coming to Ut Trang garden, in addition to using the services at the tum and hut, visitors also spread out sitting cushions right in the garden, under the trees; Participate in some fun and recreational activities, such as: Fishing, jet skiing; Enjoy hot, rustic dishes prepared in a garden space. After visiting Ut Trang garden, Mr. Le Ngoc Minh (Long Xuyen City) expressed his impression with the new orchard. In addition, the garden owner’s very polite service and enthusiastic and welcoming tour guide made him want to come back on the next occasion.

Ms. Trang informed: “Tourists can hire fishing and cooking services on the spot according to their needs at market prices; Buy fruit as gifts for friends and relatives at preferential prices… In the coming time, my family will continuously change crop types, adding many new and attractive types of services to serve. tourists’ needs to visit and enjoy.”
