(Baoquangngai.vn) – On the morning of April 24, Quang Ngai Newspaper coordinated with the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam – Dung Quat Branch (BIDV Dung Quat) to award funding to support and start housing construction for poor households in Hanh Trung commune (Nghia Hanh).

Mr. Nga’s family is poor and has particularly difficult circumstances in the locality. Life is difficult, lacking before, lacking later. At an advanced age, he and his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tinh (78 years old), are often sick and ill. Without children, the family’s situation is even more lonely.
The source of income depends on 2 acres of rice fields and a social allowance of more than 1 million VND per month for the elderly that the State supports the couple. The temporary house was built more than 10 years ago and is now degraded. Every stormy season comes, we worry about flooding and house collapse.

“Life is so difficult that for many years, the family has not had the conditions to build a new house. With support from Quang Ngai Newspaper and BIDV Dung Quat, my husband and I now confidently borrow more relatives to rebuild the house. This is a great encouragement, helping my husband and I feel secure in stabilizing our lives, easing the burden in our old age; No more fear when the rainy season comes. I am very grateful and appreciate the love the units have for the family,” Mr. Nga emotionally expressed.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc shared with the situation of Mr. Nga and Ms. Tinh; I hope he and his wife stay healthy and soon stabilize their lives when they have a new house.

The unit has always accompanied and coordinated with Quang Ngai Newspaper to carry out social security work in the province, especially in housing construction activities and supporting Tet gifts for the poor in recent years. We hope that the locality will supervise and create the best conditions for the construction of the house to be carried out on schedule, ensuring quality, functionality and soon handing over to the family before this year’s rainy season.

Ngai (July 1, 1989 – July 1, 2024), aiming to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the first issue of Quang Ngai Newspaper (July 8, 1989 – July 8, 2024), 15 years of establishment Quang Ngai electronic newspaper (July 2009 – July 2024).
This is the 4th house that has been started out of a total of 13 Great Solidarity houses that Quang Ngai Newspaper mobilized and called on agencies, units and businesses to support in early 2024. Total funding for construction campaign Building 13 houses cost 670 million VND.

Previously, Quang Ngai Newspaper coordinated with the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development – Quang Ngai Branch (Agribank Quang Ngai), along with agencies and units, to award money to support housing construction for Ms. Dang Thi Thu Lieu’s family, in Tinh Ha commune (Son Tinh) and Ms. Dinh Thi Trang, in Hanh Dung commune (Nghia Hanh), are poor households, having difficulty finding housing, with a budget of 50 million VND/household. Coordinate with the Provincial Social Policy Bank Trade Union to support 50 million VND to build a house for the family of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung (68 years old), 4/4 war invalid, in Tinh Son commune (Son Tinh).
