The Provincial National Assembly Delegation meets voters before the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly

In 3 days (from May 2 – 4), the Provincial National Assembly Delegates will contact voters to report to voters on the expected content and program of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; Results of activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation since the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly until now; listen and absorb opinions, recommendations, reflections, and aspirations of voters regarding the proposed program and content of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; Opinions and recommendations to the National Assembly and relevant agencies.

Provincial National Assembly deputies will meet voters in Muong Hoong commune, Dak Glei district on the morning of May 2; in Te Xang commune, Tu Mo Rong district on the afternoon of May 2; in Ya Tang commune, Sa Thay district on the morning of May 3; in Quang Trung ward, Kon Tum city on the afternoon of May 3; in Dak Nen commune, Kon Plong district on the morning of May 4.

As expected, the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 20 at the National Assembly House, Hanoi and is expected to close on June 28. The meeting was conducted in 2 phases: Phase 1: From May 20 – June 8; Phase 2: From June 17 – 28.

At this session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 10 bills and 3 draft resolutions, including:

Social Insurance Law (amended); Law on National Defense, Security and Industrial Mobilization; Road rules; Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law on Archives (amended); Capital Law (amended); Law on Organization of People’s Courts (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Asset Auctions; Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Support Tools (amended) – according to procedures at a session; Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Guard Law – according to the procedure at a session.

Resolution on piloting and supplementing a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Nghe An province; Resolution amending and supplementing Resolution No. 119/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly on piloting the organization of the urban government model and a number of specific mechanisms and policies to develop Da Nang city; Resolution on the 2025 Law and Ordinance Building Program, adjusting the 2024 Law and Ordinance Building Program.

The National Assembly will comment on 11 draft laws, including: Law on Notarization (amended); Trade Union Law (amended); Law on Cultural Heritage (amended); Law on Geology and Minerals; Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue; Law on People’s Air Defense; Law on Urban Planning and Rural Planning; Juvenile Justice Law; Value Added Tax Law (amended); Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Pharmacy Law.

The National Assembly considers and decides on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues: Review reports on additional assessment of results of implementation of economic development plans socio-economic and state budget in 2023; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and state budget in the first months of 2024; approve the 2022 state budget settlement; Consider and decide on a number of projects using general reserves of the Medium-term Public Investment Plan for the period 2021 – 2025 corresponding to the increase in Central budget revenue in 2022 according to the provisions of Point c, Clause 1, Article 5 of Resolution No. 106/2023/QH15 dated November 28, 2023 on piloting a number of specific policies on investment in road construction; Review the Report on thrift practice and waste prevention in 2023; Conduct specialized supervision on “Implementation of Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022 of the National Assembly on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Socio-economic recovery and development program and resolutions of the National Assembly on a number of important national projects until the end of 2023”; conduct questions and answer questions; consider and decide on other important issues;…
