People in Suoi Sau village, Suoi Kiet commune, Tanh Linh district are waiting for the authorities to build a road connecting the village to the commune center. Suoi Sau belongs to Suoi Kiet commune, currently has 300 households/1,200 people, mainly living on farming, located far from the commune center. The road is not convenient, you have to go through Suoi Gieng of Tan Duc commune (Ham Tan) on many deserted rubber forest roads. People in the village are waiting for the authorities to build a road from Suoi Sau to the commune center.

The first part of the road in Suoi Sau village is dusty.

This road has a starting point from the village to the commune center. The starting section has an existing road about 5m wide, more than 3km long, the roadbed is made of red soil gravel, so in the dry season it is dusty, and in the rainy season it is muddy and difficult to travel. The most miserable are the children in the village going to school and the households living along the road.

Road dust covers the roadside garden.

Mr. Ho Cong Thanh – a citizen of the village said: “Every season is miserable, in the rainy season there are many muddy places, children have difficulty going to school, and in the dry season it is dusty every time it is windy or vehicles pass by. People living on both sides of the road are always in a state of having to breathe dusty air and are susceptible to respiratory diseases.” What Mr. Thanh shared was the fact that when we traveled on the route, we also felt the heavily polluted atmosphere. Where there is a house on the side of the road, dust flies into the house, and where there is a fruit garden, dust covers the garden.

This situation has been going on for many years, people have proposed in meetings with voters many times but up to now we have not seen the implementation of the route. Mr. Bui Minh Tam – village head of Suoi Sau village shared: Previously, we heard that the State had a policy to extend this road to the commune center. However, so far it has not been implemented, currently there are more than 200 households living along both sides of the road. They are waiting for the authorities to speed up the progress of building roads to easily travel and transport agricultural products.

The People’s Committee of Suoi Kiet commune, which has reached the goal of new rural areas in 2022, is making efforts to advance to advanced new rural areas, saying: the roads in the commune have largely been concreted according to the National target program on agricultural construction. new villages in Tanh Linh district in the period of 2021-2025 and 2022. In 2024, the commune has surveyed and expanded other routes according to the needs of people in the new period, moving towards the goal of advanced new rural areas. As for the road from Suoi Sau village to the commune center invested by the province, the first part in the village is currently very dusty and people hope the authorities will soon build a road to facilitate travel as well as transport agricultural products.

Understanding the wishes of the people here, we contacted the relevant authorities to get information about the progress of the road implementation. The Management Board of investment projects for construction of agricultural and rural development projects of the province, which is the investor of investment projects for construction of agricultural and rural development projects, said that currently the Management Board is coordinating with functional agencies to consider implementing road construction.

More than ever, people in Suoi Kiet commune and neighboring communes in general and Suoi Sau in particular hope that the authorities will pay attention to making this road convenient for travel, ensuring traffic safety and stabilizing life. living.
