Successfully implementing the model “Building a family of 5 rich, 3 clean”

Implementing the Resolution of the Women’s Congress at all levels for the 2021-2026 term and the Campaign “All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized cities”, the Provincial Women’s Union has chosen An Thinh commune, Luong Tai district. as a point to deploy the model “Building a family of 5 rich, 3 clean”.

This is a new model launched by the Central Vietnam Women’s Union with 8 criteria including: Having a safe house, having a sustainable livelihood, having health, having knowledge, having a cultural lifestyle and a clean, clean house. alley, clean field.

After 1 year of implementation, the model has initially achieved its set goals, bringing benefits and practical significance in supporting members, women and the community to improve their knowledge of building a safe, sustainable living environment. civilized, happy.

The entire commune has mobilized 100% of participating households to sign a commitment to implement the model. To date, An Thinh commune has 2,411 households meeting all 8 criteria of the campaign (94.47%); The number of poor households decreased from 50 households to 40 households, with 95 people; 7/7 villages have established air volleyball clubs, folk dance and sports clubs, and quan ho singing clubs.

At the same time, 98.9% of members and people were mobilized to participate in health insurance. The entire commune has 7/7 villages recognized as cultural villages; 100% of households met the criteria “Clean house”, 99.60% of households met the criterion “Clean alley”, 99.72% met the criterion “Clean field”; 100% of villages have a waste collection team…

Speaking at the Conference, Chairman of the Women’s Union of Bac Ninh province, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Mai proposed that in the coming time, all levels of the Women’s Union of Luong Tai district continue to replicate the model to all communes and towns in the district. ; Research and creatively apply the Party’s policies, the State’s policies, and the criteria for building new rural areas that have been assigned by the Party Committee and the government to participate and undertake, thereby proposing new topics. Local policies and budgets support the implementation of the model as well as the Association’s activities.

Strengthen the organization of training and communication classes to raise awareness and knowledge for women members about the contents and criteria of the “Family 5 No, 3 Clean” Campaign. At the same time, integrating the contents of the model “Building a family of 5 yes, 3 clean” with the content of cultivating Vietnamese family values. Establish a zalo, facebook group,… to conveniently exchange and update the model’s activities and activities of the Association at the grassroots level.
