According to Phu Yen Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, recently, the province’s agricultural sector has attracted many businesses interested in investing in cultivation, livestock, forestry and clean water and rural environmental sanitation. Among them, there are 3 outstanding investment projects in the agricultural sector with a total investment capital of thousands of billions of VND that have been approved by the Provincial People’s Committee for investment policy.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc, Deputy Director of Phu Yen Department of Planning and Investment, in the livestock sector there are 2 projects. Firstly, the high-tech livestock project of Quang Minh Livestock Technology Development Investment Joint Stock Company in Binh Thang village, Son Thanh Dong commune (Tay Hoa) with an area of ​​about 60 hectares. The project investment objective is to build technical infrastructure for a sow farm using modern, closed technology, ensuring environmental hygiene standards to prevent epidemics and meeting VietGAP livestock standards.

The project will contribute to increasing local budget revenue and creating jobs to attract local workers, contributing to the development of the livestock industry in Tay Hoa district in particular and Phu Yen province in general. At the same time, increase the efficiency of using raw materials and agricultural by-products to create high quality products to meet the needs of markets inside and outside the province.

As well as creating high quality, safe and disease-free output breeds; creating a shift in pig farming towards chain links from production to consumption of safe, high-yield, low-cost products, meeting market needs and profits of farmers. The project has an investment scale to build a livestock farm of about 15,000 sows to annually supply to the market about 300,000 – 350,000 piglets; Total investment capital is about 795 billion VND.

Second, the Son Ha Pig Farm project of Son Ha Livestock Company Limited, in Son Ha commune (Son Hoa district) is deployed on an area of ​​about 17 hectares, with a scale of 20,000 pigs/batch (2 batches/batch). year). Total project investment capital is about 109 billion VND.

For the field of cultivation, it is a regional project linking high-quality rice production, purchasing, processing and exporting rice in Phu Yen province of Trung An High-Tech Agriculture Joint Stock Company.

The investment objective is to build a cluster of export rice processing factories, associated with the development of high-quality organic rice raw material areas in districts, key rice areas and neighboring provinces through the above form of association. Districts: Tay Hoa, Phu Hoa, Tuy An, Dong Hoa town and Tuy Hoa city. From there, it helps improve the quality of the rice value chain for domestic service and export processing, building a strong rice brand for businesses, the province and the country.

The project has a total investment capital of about 590 billion VND, with a scale of about 15,000 hectares of organic rice; Investment in construction of technical cluster projects including: rice dryer line, rice silo cluster, milling plant, material warehouse, office, canteen, worker rest area and other items. Other auxiliary facilities with an area of ​​about 10.26 hectares in Hoa Quang Bac commune (Phu Hoa district).

Also according to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc, currently investors are implementing relevant procedures according to regulations to invest in project construction.

Orientation for agricultural investment businesses
