Quang Binh develops a plan to implement the Provincial Planning

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Binh said that after the Quang Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 – 2030, vision to 2050 was approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 377/QD- TTg on April 12, 2023, the Department of Planning and Investment advised the Provincial People’s Committee to direct departments, branches, units and localities to implement.

The Department also proposed and proposed that the Provincial People’s Committee soon direct and assign tasks related to the planning of Quang Binh province in the coming time, including: Completing the draft plan to implement the Provincial Planning Quang Binh; Direct the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Industry and Trade to continue contacting the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to soon have written comments on the content of the draft plan to implement the Master Plan. Quang Binh Province; Request departments, branches and units as assigned to research, absorb and explain 58 opinions of central ministries and branches (of which, 39 opinions have been received and explained by the Department of Planning and Investment preliminary) sent to the Department of Planning and Investment before May 10 to complete the draft plan for implementing Quang Binh Provincial Planning.

In particular, for the list of investment priority projects included in the implementation plan of Quang Binh Provincial Planning, the Department of Planning and Investment requests the Provincial People’s Committee to direct departments, branches and localities based on the planning. approved at the national level, with comments from ministries and central branches to review and propose additional projects to the draft implementation plan of Quang Binh Provincial Planning.

Also according to the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Binh, because the Quang Binh Provincial Plan was approved before the National specialized plans, it is necessary to review it to supplement and update it.

In addition, currently, the Ministry of Planning and Investment is presiding over the development of a National Assembly Resolution on decentralizing provincial-level People’s Committees to promulgate the Provincial Planning Implementation Plan, which is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and promulgation at The 7th or 8th session is coming soon.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant departments, divisions and branches focused on discussing the review to supplement and update the Provincial Plan and complete the Provincial Plan Implementation Plan.

Directing at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee Phan Phong Phu requested departments, branches and districts, towns and cities in the province to review Decision No. 377/QD-TTg, especially departments and branches. Based on the approved specialized planning of the superior level, request permission to update and supplement Decision No. 377/QD-TTg. At the same time, continue to review to complete the Provincial Planning Implementation Plan, urgently send it to the Department of Planning and Investment for synthesis; At the same time, study, receive and explain opinions of ministries and central branches.

Vice Chairman Phan Phong Phu also requested the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Industry and Trade to contact the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to soon have written comments on related content in the Draft Plan for implementing Quang Binh Provincial Planning.
