Towards the 70th Anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 – May 7, 2024), the Vietnam Military History Museum coordinates with the National Museum of History and the House Archives and Records Administration. the country hosting the exhibition Dien Bien Phu – Historical rendezvous.

The exhibition introduces more than 300 images, documents, and artifacts reflecting the preparation process in all aspects, the spirit of determination to fight and determination to win of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army, especially, the brave fighting process. The tenacity, ingenuity, and creativity of our army and people on all fronts created the Dien Bien Phu Victory that was “famous in five continents and shook the earth”.

Prominent in the exhibition space is the bronze statue named after Mr Dien Bien Phu victory by sculptor Nguyen Hai is placed next to the entrance.

Visitors can leave notes during their visit in the notebook placed on the table at the entrance to the exhibition. The exhibition is open to visitors from April 23 to the end of May at the Vietnam Military History Museum (No. 28A Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi).
