Currently, in Phu Yen province, there are 2 expressway projects under the North – South expressway component project under construction, including the Quy Nhon – Chi Thanh section expressway project and the Chi Thanh section expressway project. Thanh – Van Phong with a total length of more than 90 km.
Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee said that site clearance work is a very difficult and complicated job, a bottleneck in investing in the construction of traffic infrastructure. In recent times, localities have actively carried out site clearance work for the North-South Expressway Construction Project in the East for the period 2021 – 2025. As a result, the site has been handed over to Investor 89.74/90.12km, reaching 99.59% (Tuy An district handed over 100% of the Quy Nhon – Chi Thanh section; Tuy Hoa city handed over 100% of the ground). The remaining volume is about 0.41%, equivalent to 430m, which is not large but highly complex.
Specifically, Song Cau town has 3 households that have not yet handed over the land, about 150m long. In Tuy An district, there is still 30m of land that has not yet been handed over. On April 23, 2024, the locality supported the handover of the land (land origin is managed by the commune but people think it is household land). Phu Hoa district still has 1 solar power household that has basically agreed on a site clearance plan but has not yet dismantled it, about 40m long. Tay Hoa district still has 1 household about 56m2 not yet handed over (belonging to phase 2 of the expressway). Dong Hoa town still has 4 households that have not agreed to hand over at the intersection of National Highway 29 and the intersection of National Highway 1 – Hoa Tam, about 120m long.
Faced with the above situation, the Chairman of Phu Yen Provincial People’s Committee requested localities with passing projects to determine site clearance work to implement the North-South Eastern Expressway Construction Project in the 2021 period – 2025, the section in the province is currently an urgent key task; Urgently implement solutions to overcome all difficulties and problems, focus on resolutely handling and handing over the entire remaining premises to the Investor no later than April 27, 2024.
It is recommended that the Town Party Committee and District Party Committee of the localities: Song Cau, Tuy An, Phu Hoa, Tay Hoa, Dong Hoa continue to drastically direct the contents related to compensation and site clearance, and implement them effectively. The results of propaganda work and mobilization of the People to complete the final handover of the site according to the State’s prescribed policy mechanisms, consider this as the key work during this time.
