“RMIT school is only for rich people’s children? Only those with means can attend RMIT school?”.

These are the questions and thoughts of many parents when learning about RMIT Vietnam before “choosing” a suitable learning environment for their children. But in the situation of Ms. Mai Thi Khoan, parent of Tran Minh Khoa, the answers to the above questions are not necessarily the same.

“When Minh Khoa graduated from high school, he was awarded a scholarship by a prestigious university. At that time, my mother and I were wondering whether to choose between RMIT or the school where my child received a scholarship because really, if Khang attended RMIT, I would I almost had to spend all the money I had saved for a long time,” Ms. Mai Thi Khoan recalled the moment filled with hesitation when choosing a school for her child.

But after visiting the two schools, Ms. Mai Thi Khoan completely leaned towards RMIT and so did Minh Khang. Deciding to choose RMIT, Ms. Mai Thi Khoan rented a house in Vung Tau and went to Ho Chi Minh City to accompany her children on the exciting journey of adulthood ahead. As for Khoa, because he was afraid that his mother would work hard and not have enough money to pay tuition, he also worked as a shipper whenever he had free time.

“Time passed like that, and my child’s results in subjects were very positive. Looking at the portrait that Minh Khoa silently drew for his mother’s birthday this year and the sentiments he wrote on the card, I suddenly realized that my child was I have grown up,” Ms. Mai Thi Khoan said proudly.

“Under the pressure of the specialized school, the class choosing the high school years combined with the incident that prevented my daughter from studying abroad, all made my confidence gradually erode. But at RMIT, I was able to shine. Be yourself in every moment,” said Ms. Thom Vu, parent of Vu Thanh Ha, former valedictorian of the Professional Communications major.

Thanh Ha confidently expresses herself, demonstrating her strengths with her hard work and creativity. Ha got acquainted with the international learning environment and loved multiculturalism, so she only focused on applying for jobs and working at multinational companies.

“Whatever happens must happen. My daughter has a green card to immigrate to Canada and it is largely thanks to the achievements and efforts gained through her time studying at RMIT. I believe in knowledge, skills, and experience. What you have accumulated at RMIT will help you be strong, peaceful and successful in Canada,” Ms. Thom Vu said.

Reflecting on her child’s journey to adulthood, Ms. Thanh Nga, parent of Nguyen Duc Anh, majoring in Commerce, said: “During 3 years studying at RMIT Hanoi, Duc Anh – my eldest son joined the club. the school’s Event Organizing Department and intern and work part-time at domestic media companies to both earn income and gain experience and build relationships.”

Accordingly, most students studying at RMIT have the opportunity to participate in an internship program lasting from 12 weeks to a year at a business, where they can actually work. RMIT students also connect with career advisors – experts in various fields to receive advice on work, career…

“In 2022, my second daughter also followed in her brother’s footsteps when she proactively decided to major in Psychology at RMIT Hanoi. My family supports and is satisfied with her decision. So it’s a My child’s brilliant journey to adulthood started at RMIT,” Ms. Nga shared.

Proudly sharing about her child’s achievements after graduating from RMIT, Ms. Tran Thi Nhi Ha, parent of Nguyen Tri Ha Giang, said that Giang received her diploma on April 9, 2024, but she already has a professional job. subject from November 2022, right after my internship at a large hotel in the city.
