At about 8 o’clock the same day, the Criminal Police Team of the Police An Phu district Receiving news, in Phuoc Tho hamlet area, Da Phuoc town, there was a robbery of bags, money, gold and mobile phones.
Using professional measures, 4 hours later, An Phu District Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Team and Vinh My Ward Police (Chau Doc City) to arrest 2 Tran Ngoc Anh Tu and Nguyen Huy Hoang, along with 1 new motorbike and evidence just “got sold”.
Searching the residence of 2 Hoang and Tu, the police also discovered 7 mobile phones and 1 laptop, suspected to be property obtained by robbery, with a total value of about 30 million VND.
According to management records, Nguyen Huy Hoang had a previous conviction for “Murder”, serving his sentence in February 2019; Tran Ngoc Anh Tu has a previous conviction for “Theft of property”, completing his sentence in July 2023.
