In Lang Lam (Hoa Trung commune) at the end of the spring tea season, people’s work on the tea hills seems to never stop. Comrade Lam Thi Thuan, Secretary of the Party Cell, said: The Front Working Committee has mobilized more than 30 additional workers in the hamlet to support dependent or elderly households to harvest in time for the season. Mobilizing people to support families in difficulty or to achieve common community goals has become a routine for many years.

In 2023, the village mobilized people to donate over 2,000 square meters of land, contribute 742 man-days, reciprocate, support funds of over 800 million VND, mobilize nearly 1,000 workers to build rural infrastructure and install over 2,000m of electricity illuminates village roads… Thanks to that, people’s lives have been positively improved. To date, the average income in the hamlet has reached nearly 80 million VND/person/year, an increase of over 25 million VND compared to 2021.

Lam Village is a typical example of the 376 smart civil mobilization models that Dong Hy has built from 2023 to present. In 2023, the district will build one more commune meeting advanced new rural standards (Nam Hoa commune), one commune meeting model new rural standards (Hoa Trung commune), increasing the number of communes meeting new rural standards in the whole district to 11/12 communes (including 2 communes achieving advanced new rural areas; 2 communes achieving model new rural areas)…

In the field of culture and society, the district has built 70 skillful mass mobilization models (48 collective models, 22 individual models). Outstanding models include: “Religious communities and residential areas protecting the environment to respond to climate change” in Khe Mo commune; model “Club to preserve and promote Dao ethnic identity” in Hop Tien commune; Model of “Fatherland Flag Road” in Hoa Thuong town…

Skillful mass mobilization models have contributed to the good implementation of the movement “All people unite to build a cultural life”, promoting the implementation of social security activities. In 2023, the rate of families meeting cultural family standards will be over 93.47%; Cultural hamlets, villages, and residential groups reached over 97.9%; Agencies and units meet cultural standards at over 96.4%.

In the field of building the political system, the district has built 67 models (42 collective models, 25 individual models). Skilled mass mobilization models have promoted the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations and the work of Party building and rectification. Up to now, 100% of villages and hamlets have regulations and conventions, which are held annually to collect people’s opinions to implement them in accordance with reality.

It can be said that typical models of grassroots mass mobilization work in Dong Hy district have aroused the strength of great solidarity of the entire people, brought practical benefits to the community, and strengthened people’s trust in the community.
