Binh Thuan, a coastal province, is pioneering in applying the circular economy model to promote sustainable development and environmental protection.

With 9 Industrial Parks (IPs) approved by the Government, with a total area of up to 3,048 hectares, Binh Thuan not only focuses on expanding industrial scale but also aims to create a closed production system. , effective.

Businesses need to pay attention to circular economy to not only bring benefits to the community.

By the end of 2023, Binh Thuan has witnessed the participation of 88 secondary enterprises in 5 of its industrial parks, with 66 projects already in operation. This development not only contributes to economic growth but also opens up opportunities for implementing the circular economy model.

Some pioneering enterprises have begun to transfer their industrial waste to other units, turning it into production materials, thereby minimizing the amount of waste and optimizing the use of resources. However, the circular economy model is still not really popular and there is a lack of symbiosis between businesses in the same industrial park.

In order for the circular economy model to maximize its effectiveness, more research and investment is needed to remove current difficulties and obstacles. This includes facilitating collaboration between businesses, as well as building appropriate infrastructure to support the recycling and reuse of materials.

Binh Thuan is facing a great opportunity to become a typical model of circular economy in Vietnam, contributing to the goal of not only rapid but also sustainable and environmentally friendly industrial development.
