This is one of the practical meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory of the film industry. Through cinematic works to propagate and educate about historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions and promote patriotism, heroism, solidarity, pride and self-reliance, self-reliance of our people; highlight the role, stature, and glorious historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu campaign and the resistance war against the French; affirming the achievements of our Party and people in the cause of liberation, national independence, construction and defense of the Fatherland.

In the series of activities at Film Week, the Cinema Department introduced and displayed a number of documentary photos of the documentary film and photography crew participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign and presented them to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition to screening films for the audience, in the lobby of Dien Bien Phu cinema, there will be an exhibition of documentary photos of Vietnamese Revolutionary Cinema participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Dien Bien province also awarded Certificates of Merit to many groups and individuals with achievements in organizing the Film Week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
