At the same time, coordinated with relevant units to organize 2,623 communication sessions, with 38,819 attendees; Organized 4 province-wide communication campaigns; coordinated with Ca Mau Radio and Television Station to broadcast 6 topics “Social insurance and life”; Build 1 Cai Luong episode, 2 radio stories broadcast on radio waves in communes, wards, towns… to convey to all classes of people a clear understanding of the purpose, meaning, and benefits of participating in social insurance. , health insurance.

Achieve and exceed assigned targets

According to Mr. Trinh Trung Kien, thanks to the synchronous coordination in the process of implementing resolutions, policies, and laws on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, in 2023, Ca Mau Provincial Social Insurance achieved and exceeded assigned targets. .

Specifically, the total number of people participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance is 1,125,395 people, reaching 100.4% of the plan. Of which: 63,513 people have compulsory social insurance, reaching 100.1% of the plan; Voluntary social insurance for 29,265 people, reaching 107.3% of the plan; Unemployment insurance for 56,144 people, reaching 100.7% of the plan; Health insurance for 1,096,130 people, reaching 100.2% of the plan. The health insurance coverage rate reached 96.16%, exceeding 3.66% compared to Resolution No. 21/NQ-HDND in 2023 of the Provincial People’s Council.

Total revenue from social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance is 2,317 billion VND, reaching 100.2% of the plan. Total expenditure on social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance is 2,696 billion VND, of which expenditure on settlement of benefits for 184,590 people receiving social insurance and unemployment insurance is 1,490 billion VND; Health insurance medical examination and treatment expenditure was 1,206 billion VND, for 2,980 people with health insurance medical examination.

Electronic transactions reached 99.6%; The number of level 4 electronic records received out of the total number of records received during the period reached 93%; Approved and installed VSSID – Social Insurance number for 174,257 people, reaching 104.78% of the target; There are 1,039,935 people participating in social insurance and health insurance verified with the national population database, reaching 96.8%; Non-cash payment of pensions and social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance benefits reaches an average of over 95%; 1,117,535 dossiers received in one-stop shop, 1,034,527 dossiers returned results.

Planned inspection and examination of 115 units, unscheduled specialized inspection of 43 units; Interdisciplinary inspection of 19 units. Through inspection and examination, 72 decisions to sanction administrative violations with an amount of over 570 million VND were issued; Collect unpaid and underpaid payments from 162 employees amounting to over 400 million VND.

Develop participants, implement social security policies well

In 2024, the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Ca Mau province assign compulsory social insurance to reach 97.5%, unemployment insurance to reach 92.5%, and voluntary social insurance to reach 8% compared to the number of participants; Health insurance covers 93.5% of the population.

To achieve the above goal, Ca Mau Provincial Social Insurance continues to promote coordination with units, and synchronously implement many of the following key solutions:

Advise Steering Committees at all levels to continue effectively implementing proposed programs and plans; Continue to implement programs and plans according to the signed coordination regulations between departments, branches, associations, unions, socio-political organizations, and commune-level People’s Committees in organizing training and propaganda. social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance policies and providing convenient services to participants.

Continue to review, advise and propose to strengthen the Steering Committees at all levels, focusing on adjusting and adding members to link the Provincial Steering Committee with the district level, and the district level with the commune level.

Continue to coordinate with the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and People’s Committees of districts and cities in the province to assign specific targets for the development of participants in social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance to each hamlet/cluster.
