Coordinate to promote disbursement and outstanding loan growth

(QBDT) – On the afternoon of April 24, the Bank for Social Policies (VBSP)-Quang Binh Branch and socio-political organizations at the provincial level organized a conference to brief on entrusted activities for borrow through social work organizations in the first quarter and deploy tasks in the second quarter of 2024.

At the conference, delegates heard reports on loan entrustment activities through social work organizations. In the first quarter, VBSP-Quang Binh Branch along with 4 organizations (Farmers Association, Veterans Association , Women’s Union, Youth Union) entrusted with closely following instructions at all levels, promptly meeting the need for credit capital to serve production, business, and restore production of poor and near-poor households. and other policy subjects, contributing to the successful implementation of national target programs on sustainable poverty reduction and ensuring social security.

Loan turnover for entrusted policy credit programs in the first quarter reached 400.9 billion VND. Total outstanding debt of credit programs reached 5,338.7 billion VND, an increase of 103.4 billion VND compared to the same period in 2023. Total overdue debt and frozen debt is 4.5 billion VND, accounting for 0.08% of total outstanding debt. .

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and pointing out a number of limitations and difficulties in the implementation process, such as: Results of inspection of entrustment activities, especially inspection of capital use at the Association level in 3 months has not met regulations; Loan capital levels of some credit programs are still quite low; The overdue debt rate in some associations is still high…
