Opening of the Film Week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory

Dien Bien TV – On the evening of April 24, at the Cinema, Dien Bien province in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Opening Film Week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Attending the opening of the film week was Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of the Cinema Department. On the side of Dien Bien province, there was Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the film week, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of the Cinema Department emphasized: The film week is one of the meaningful activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory of the Cinema industry. Through works to propagate and educate about historical, cultural, revolutionary traditions and promote patriotism and solidarity of the People. At the same time, highlight the role, stature, and glorious historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Dien Bien province, hoped that in the coming time, Dien Bien would continue to receive the attention and coordination of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Cinema as well as provinces and cities nationwide will ensure that the land and people of Dien Bien will continue to be a source of inspiration for creating valuable works to serve the people.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Director of the Cinema Department awarded the Emulation Flag of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the Dien Bien Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center.

Film week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory will take place from April 24-30 with the following works: Documentary film Accompanying history; Memories of those who spread the fire; Rose Platoon; movie Peaches, Pho and Piano. Screenings start at 8:00 p.m. on movie week days.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented the Emulation Flag to the Cultural and Cinema Center of Dien Bien province; Awarding a Certificate of Merit to an individual with outstanding achievements in film activities; The Provincial People’s Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to a collective and an individual with outstanding achievements in organizing the Film Week commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People’s Committee awarded the Provincial People’s Committee Certificate of Merit to a group and an individual.

Also at the opening ceremony, the Cinema Department awarded the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism a number of documentary photos of the documentary film and photography crew participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the audience enjoyed the documentary Accompanying History and the movie Dao, Pho and Piano.
