Exchange program, introducing authors and works

As part of the series of activities for the 3rd Vietnam Book Day and Reading Culture in Kon Tum province in 2024, on the evening of April 24, the Department of Information and Communications coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Education and Training, Da Nang University Branch in Kon Tum, Provincial Literature and Arts Association organizes an exchange program, introducing authors and works to students in Kon Tum city.

Attending the program were leaders of a number of departments, branches and branches along with a large number of officials, people and more than 300 pupils and students in Kon Tum city.

At the program, delegates, students met and interacted with poet Nguyen Duc Hung. Here, the poet introduced the poetry collection “The Empty Century”, the work “Ben Dak Nen”, the short story “About the past”. At the same time, the poet also discussed and confided with students about his feelings, emotions, and sublimation when composing works of literature, poetry, and short stories; share experiences in the poet’s creative career; love and motivation to stick with the land of Kon Tum.

On this occasion, poet Nguyen Duc Hung also sent advice to students about the meaning and benefits of reading books as well as the need to equip themselves with life skills to improve themselves and live a good life. positive, meaningful and well adapted to the continuous development of today’s society. After the exchange, poet Nguyen Duc Hung gave 4 gifts of 4 works of poetry collection “The Empty Century” to 4 students at the program.

Also on this occasion, excellent literary works were staged by students of Ly Tu Trong Pedagogical Practice Secondary School, Nguyen Tat Thanh High School for the Gifted, and Kon Tum High School.
