The man left his phone and gold ring behind and jumped into the Lam River

On the evening of April 24, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police said the unit was still looking for the man who jumped from Ben Thuy 1 bridge.

At around 3:30 p.m., passersby discovered some items on the surface of the Ben Thuy 1 bridge (across the Lam River, connecting Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces). They suspected that someone had committed suicide, so they reported to the authorities.

The Fire and Rescue Police Team mobilized vehicles and forces to organize the search. Initially, the authorities identified the victim as Mr. PVD. (37 years old, residing in Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An).

At the scene, the authorities discovered a pair of sandals, a shirt, a phone and a gold ring similar to a wedding ring owned by Mr. D. leave.

At 8:00 p.m. the same day, search and rescue forces were still searching on the Lam River. At night, strong water flows made the search difficult.
