Arrested and detained a vehicle carrying 70 diameter bags of unknown origin

During patrol and control. The Traffic Police Force (GTCS) of Quang Binh Provincial Police discovered, arrested and detained a truck carrying 70 diameter bags of unknown origin.

According to information from the Traffic Police Department, Quang Binh Provincial Police said. At 9:30 a.m. on April 24, at Km 687 National Highway 1 in Hong Thuy commune (Le Thuy), during the performance of its duties, the road traffic control patrol team of the Traffic Police Department, Provincial police stopped a truck with license plate number 38H-024.71 driven by driver Nguyen Van Toan (born 1999, residing in Cam Ha commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province) driving in the South – North direction with signs of doubt.

Through inspection, it was discovered that inside the truck there were 70 diameter bags with foreign words, total weight 3.5 tons, estimated value of the goods about 55 million VND.

At the time of inspection, driver Nguyen Van Toan could not present documents proving the origin and legal origin of the above goods.

The working group made a record of the case and handed it over to Market Management Team No. 7, Quang Binh Market Management Department for handling according to the provisions of law.
