This year’s afforestation season, Bac Kan city strives to plant more than 140 hectares. Due to the hot and dry weather over the past month, the city’s afforestation progress has been slow, only reaching nearly 30% of the assigned plan. Therefore, in order to be proactive about forest planting seeds to ensure supply for people to plant trees as soon as favorable weather occurs, seed nursery establishments in the city are taking care of existing tree varieties, ensuring ensure plants grow well.
