More than 140 representatives from leading supply, transportation and logistics businesses in Vietnam, partners of Nestlé Vietnam, participated in discussions and shared information with VBCSD representatives and experts from the Department. According to a quick survey, the majority of businesses in the supply chain know and want to develop action programs to reduce GHG emissions. However, many businesses still face difficulties and confusion in measuring, inventorying and building a roadmap to achieve emissions reduction goals. Therefore, the exchange and discussion program not only aims to update international and Vietnamese commitments, provide information on the relevant legal framework, but also guide businesses in the chain. provides ways to carry out inventory reports, as well as develop and complete emission reduction plans towards the goal of contributing to realizing Vietnam’s Net Zero commitment by 2050.

At the same time, officially launched the agroforestry initiative to plant 2.3 million trees in the Central Highlands.

In addition, reducing emissions and investing in digital transformation in the transportation and logistics sector is one of Nestlé Vietnam’s important strategies.
