Nghe An Province Navy Veterans Group revisits the old battlefield in Can Giuoc district

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and unification of the country (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024), on April 23, 2024, Nghe An Province Navy Veterans Union led by Mr. Nguyen Ba Quang was the leader of the delegation to visit the old battlefield in Can Giuoc district. Vice Chairman of the District People’s Committee – Dao Thi Ngoc Vui; Representatives of the National Guard, Police, Veterans Association, and District Youth Union welcomed the delegation.

Nghe An Province Navy Veterans delegation visited Ton Thanh Pagoda – National Historic Site.

The group visited the district’s historical relics and introduced the district’s outstanding achievements in recent years. Through this, the delegation is happy with the changes in Can Giuoc district in particular and Long An province in general, where members of the delegation once participated in fighting in two resistance wars against colonialism and imperialist invasion.
