Previously, from the morning of April 10, Ngoc Son Primary School transferred 152 students from the Thanh Nam retail location to the main campus because the retail location was seriously degraded and unsafe.

To welcome students from Thanh Nam retail location, Ngoc Son School built 6 new classrooms, built a yard, fence, school gate, artificial turf, and sanitation facilities; renovate and upgrade offices, 5 function rooms; Purchased 30 new computers, 11 televisions, 70 sets of tables and chairs…

The total investment value of the items is up to nearly 9 billion VND, meeting the conditions to transfer students from Thanh Nam odd point to the main study point.

However, from April 10 to 11, a number of parents and students gathered at the gate of the Thanh Nam area to react, and on the morning of April 12, 16 parents and 27 students went down to the citizen reception headquarters of Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee. Talking to reporters, leaders of Thanh Chuong district said that the policy of eliminating retail schools and merging them into the main school was agreed upon by the school and locality many years ago, and the Department of Education and Training has approved. to give students a better learning environment and improve the quality of comprehensive education.

At schools in Thanh Chuong district, the merger took place smoothly. However, at Thanh Nam school (part of Ngoc Son Primary School), for many years there have been some parents protesting with the desire to keep the separate school.
