Nghe An Province Veterans’ Delegation revisited the old battlefield in Tan Thanh

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation and reunification of the South, April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2024. On April 24, 2024, more than 50 Veterans and the Nghe An Province Veterans’ Union returned to visit the old battlefield in Tan Thanh district.

The delegation visited the historical relics, the base area of ​​the Party Committee and the Administrative Committee of the Southern Resistance in the period 1946 – 1949, in Nhon Hoa Lap commune, Tan Thanh district. During the resistance war against the French, this place was the revolutionary base of the Southern Party Committee of Region 8.

The army and people here during the two resistance wars were united in fighting bravely, maintaining revolutionary traditions, nurturing and protecting leaders from the Central to local levels, including the General Secretary. – Le Duan.
