Talking about the harmful effects of using stewed frozen pork of unknown origin, Associate Professor-Dr. Nguyen Duy Thinh (former lecturer at the Institute of Biology and Food Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology) said that in the case of stewing Even though the pig is frozen, it shows signs of mold and a foul odor due to the activity of microorganisms that cause many toxins. In addition, when using meat that shows signs of odor or mold, it is very likely that the user will be infected with harmful bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria monocytogenes or especially staph… These types of bacteria This causes harm to the body such as food poisoning, vomiting…

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Duy Thinh further informed that this bacteria appears a lot in meat. However, at high temperatures this type of bacteria will die, but the worry is that this bacteria is very susceptible to cross-infection. He gave the example of bacteria stuck in meat that can spread to other utensils, even the cook’s hands. If utensils and other cooked foods contain Salmonella bacteria, it will affect the user’s health.

In addition, using pig meat and organs of unknown origin will most likely result in eating sick pigs or pigs infected with African cholera. Therefore, Associate Professor Thinh advises consumers to pay attention to choosing fresh foods, avoiding preserved and frozen goods. Dirty food contaminated with toxic chemicals may not cause immediate signs but affects long-term health.”
