Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Launching Ceremony, Mr. Dang Van Hai – Chairman of Nghe An Education Sector Trade Union said that 2024 is the 12th year of organizing Workers’ Month, the 8th year of organizing Action Month on Safety, labor hygiene and celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
Accordingly, the Industry Union requires 100% of grassroots Trade Unions to have at least 1 practical activity to take care of the interests of union members and workers, both materially, spiritually, healthily, and academically.
For industry unions, 100% of grassroots trade unions will be organized to register to implement the program “Each grassroots union, one union member benefit”; establish 1 to 2 grassroots trade unions; Organized the program “Coming to the boarding house for teachers and workers”, giving gifts to teachers and 12th grade students studying for high school graduation exams at a number of units in the industry; Organized the “Thank you workers” program at Nghe An Book and School Equipment Joint Stock Company; giving gifts from the “Godmother” program to orphan students; Visit and give gifts to teachers and workers with serious illnesses; Sign the project “Union Kitchen” at Cua Lo and Nguyen Sy Sach High School.
For the emulation movement to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, trade unions at all levels will strive to implement specific targets such as: 100% of grassroots trade unions develop plans and organize development emulation and implementation; Direct the grassroots Trade Union to mobilize workers to actively respond to emulation movements, especially the movement “90 days of determination to achieve high results in the 2024 high school graduation exam”; 100% of grassroots Trade Unions organized at least 1 activity to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union; The industry union has at least one emulation project with a sign celebrating the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Emulate and effectively organize activities to care for the interests and welfare of union members and workers, and provide timely support to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; Organize cultural, artistic and sports activities with the motto towards the grassroots and towards the workers. Organize a round of union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions during “Worker Month”, introducing elite trade union members for the Party to foster and enroll.
