Thang Hue Agricultural Hatchery and Poultry Breeding Services Cooperative (Dam Ha town, Dam Ha district) with Mr. Dinh Van Thang as Director currently has 7 members, operating on an increasingly open capital contribution basis. expand livestock scale, invest in science and technology and have a stable consumption market. With a total area of ​​over 3,000 square meters2, this cooperative is raising 500 bearded chickens, 500 guinea geese, collecting about 500 geese and chicken eggs on average a day. From mobilizing capital from cooperative members and the support of accessing preferential loans from the farmers’ association, this cooperative has proactively applied science and technology to improve production efficiency. With 4 self-turning egg incubators, with a capacity of about 1.50,000 eggs/week, it not only ensures the cooperative’s production but also provides maximum support to members and affiliated households in the district.

By the end of 2023, based on the implementation of the project to develop concentrated fruit tree areas in Dam Ha district, the cooperative will shift crop structure and increase production value on agricultural land area. Through the implementation of the model of trial planting of passion fruit varieties for export to the European market, the cooperative received 70% support from the district for seedlings, planting 3.5 hectares of passion fruit trees. Currently, the cooperative’s passion fruit area is growing, developing well and starting to bear fruit. The cooperative’s passion fruit area is planted according to procedures to ensure food quality and safety and is expected to be able to harvest 600 – 1,000 tons of fruit/year after 6 months.

With the province’s attention from support in land policy, infrastructure, science and technology, capital to trade promotion, training… the number of cooperatives and cooperatives in the province increased rapidly and achieved many positive results in manufacturing business. Currently, the whole province has 667 cooperatives operating effectively with about 44,377 members, charter capital of over 1,263 billion VND; There are 210 cooperatives and 3 cooperative unions, of which the agricultural sector accounts for 70%. Dohh The average revenue per cooperative is 650 million VND/year; The average income of a cooperative member and worker is 68 million VND/year.

Many cooperatives care about supporting cooperative members when they encounter difficulties, making positive contributions to socio-economic development, poverty reduction, creating jobs for workers… In particular, the OCOP program has created a driving force for development. Among the 72 cooperatives participating in the province’s OCOP program, there are 70 agricultural cooperatives with 153 products, of which 18 products achieve 4 stars, 56 products achieve 3 stars. Along with that, the whole province currently has 40 linked chains with 26 participating cooperatives, of which, some cooperatives have linked with units and businesses consuming products, ensuring a stable output market.

Many economic models in the form of cooperatives are increasingly developing, bringing high economic efficiency.
