The arrested subjects are Nguyen Xuan Tai (born 1991), Le Thi Thao (born 1995), both residing in Mai Hung ward, and Quach Thi Phuong (born 1982), residing in Quynh Thien ward, along with Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province. An.

Taking advantage of the difficult economy and the need to borrow money from many people, from mid-2023 until now, the above subjects have lent many people high-interest loans under the guise of installment loans, with interest rates ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 VND. VND/million VND/day, the longer the loan term, the higher the interest rate.

Initially, the authorities worked with 18 victims and determined that the amount of money Tai, Thao, and Phuong organized to lend and mortgage assets was about 2.2 billion VND, earning illegal profits of about 300 million VND. Currently, the project is being further investigated.
